Red Cross gives away water in Minsk

The Red Cross has set in Minsk stations to give away drinking water, belta.by reports. Volunteers hand out water in most crowded places: near Komarousky market, at bus stops.

In Brest, Vitsebsk and Homiel water is given away to drivers and employees of businesses who have to stay in direct sunlight for a long time. In particular, the in Homiel water is given to combine operators working on the harvest. The campaign is carried out jointly with the State Road Inspection and the regional Emergency Ministry department.

On August 8 and 9, temperature in Belarus is expected to reach 35 degrees. Weather department has already announced the red level of danger.
