Prime Minister test-drives Belarus-made Geely car

Belarusian Prime Minister Andrey Kabyakou has visited Belarusian-Chinese automaker BelGee.

“A decent car. Comfortable and spacious. It is understandable the equipment is good since this one has an improved package of options. Driving is smooth and soft,” he said after test-driving a new Geely Emgrand GT.

Six Geely car models are assembled in Belarus at present. BelGee is now busy building a new factory. The first car is supposed to roll off the assembly line at the very beginning of 2017. The factory is designed to make 60,000 vehicles per annum initially. It will make three models — two crossovers and a sedan.
