Poorest households found in Homiel region

According to belstat.gov.by, in the fourth quarter of 2016, 6.2% of the Homiel Oblast households had incomes below the minimum subsistence budget (BYN 180).

In the first quarter of 2016, 3.9% of Belarusian families lived below the poverty line. In 2017, the official statistics figure has risen to 4.4%.
