Polish border guards saved Belarusian child

Polish border guards (Straż Graniczna) saved the life of a Belarusian boy, the press-service of the agency reported.

On August 17, a Belarusian boy, together with his brothers and parents, was crossing the border at a Kuznica checkpoint, leaving Poland. Suddenly, the boy collapsed, and the parents appealed to the Polish border guards, who saw that the 16-month-old boy was unconscious, gave him first aid and called an ambulance from Sakulka.

By the time the ambulance arrived, the border guards supported the vital functions of the boy, who probably lost consciousness in the heat and was given a large dose of anti-febrile drug.

The ambulance took the child to the hospital, where, fortunately, the medics managed to bring down the fever.
