LPR 'Minister of Culture' wants Ukrainian writer to be shot for making cartoon

Irina Filatova, the Culture Ministerof the unrecognised Luhansk People’s Republic, has filed a lawsuit demanding that writer  Iryna Karpa be tried under martial law and sentenced to death by shooting.

Filatova’s lawsuit was prompted by the animated film ‘Vatnitsa Mutant’, authored by Ms Karpa.

The LPR Minister claims that the cartoon showed nude photos of her posing on a bridge with a bottle of champagne. At that, shortly before Ms Filatova took the office these pictures had been available to the public on her social media accounts.
