Exclusive news and BBC reports available on Belsat

From April 16, the audience of Belsat will be able to watch the exclusive materials of the BBC journalists.

We will be broadcasting BBC news and reports with the latest information from around the world, but with an emphasis on the events in the countries of the former USSR from Monday to Friday at 19:30 Belarusian time.

“We are very pleased that we can share our information with the audience of Belsat. The BBC offers reliable, independent and impartial journalism, which I think will interest the audience in Belarus,” said Artyom Liss, editor in chief of BBC World Service in Europe.

According to Agnieszka Romaszewska-Guzy, director of Belsat, closer cooperation with BBC is the recognition by British partners of the achievements of our journalists working in Belarus and Russia in very difficult conditions.

“It’s wonderful that we are starting to work with such a well-known organization and will be able to better meet the information needs of our viewers in Belarus and in neighboring countries,” says Agnieszka Romashevskaya-Guzy, head of the only independent television channel in Belarus.
