Election fund of Tatsiana Karatkevich receives biggest amount of money


Largest amount  of money coming into the election funds of candidates for presidency has been received by the activist of the Tell the Truth campaign Tatsiana Karatkevich. This is confirmed by the information posted on the CEC website.

As of August 12, the election fund of Ms Karatkevich received 11 million 869 thousand 375 rubles. This money has not been spent, BelaPAN reports.

The election fund of the chairman of the Belarusian Party of the Left Fair World, Syarhei Kalyakin, has received 9 million 995 thousand rubles, the amount spent is 3 million 124 thousand 500 rubles.

The account of the economist Viktar Tsyareshchanka had 6.4 million rubles transfered to it, 6 million rubles has been spent.

The unemployed teacher from Brest, Zhanna Ramanouskaya, has received 144 thousand rubles, which have already been withdrawn from the account.

Accounts of the chairman of the Belarusian Patriotic Party, the supreme chieftain of the public association Belarusian Cossacks, Makalai Ulakhovich and leader of the Liberal Democratic Party Syarhei Haidukevich who also opened accounts have been empty.

No election accounts have been opened by chairman of the United Civil Party Anatol Lyabedzka and the incumbent president Alyaksandr Lukashenka.

Mr Lyabedzka plans to open an account when he will get registered as a presidential candidate.

Mr Lukashenka has Similar plans. As chairwoman of the Central Election Commission Lidziya Yarmoshyna explained to journalists on August 6, to open the fund account at this stage of the election campaign, presidential candidate must personally visit the bank. “Special conditions of presidential schedule complicate this condition. After the registration, the candidate will be able to open an account via a financial representative,” said the head of the CEC.

Presidential elections will be held in Belarus on October 11.
