Ministry of Taxes and Duties has proposes to amend the decree “On the prevention of social dependency” y the end of 2015.
“At the moment we are collecting information about the norms in the decree that need to be adjusted. We are working to identify the bottlenecks (of the Decree – Ed.),” said Deputy Head of Department for Individual Tax of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of Belarus Svyatlana Shauchenka at a press conference.
According to the official, the ministry is detecting the categories of citizens and persons who may be included in the list of persons not required to pay the duty, interfax.by reports.
“Everything will be done before the end of the year. You should understand that from January 1 there will be already delivered notifications (on payment of the fee – Ed.),” she added.
A ministry spokesman said that at present they are working to identify citizens who do not participate in the financing of public spending. “It will all be done (sampling of citizens – Ed.) using the special software that will single out the people who never worked, received no income and thus did not pay taxes,” said Ms Shauchenka.
The Decree on parasites was signed by Head of Belarus Alyaksandr Lukashenka this 2 April.
