Belarus Cup: Riot police beat fans who ran out to football field


Hrodna riot police were beating fans right in front of the eyes of the chairman of the Belarusian Football Federation.

Immediately after the final of Belarus Cup, football fans from Brest celebrated the victory of their club over Salihorsk-based Shakhter. They slipped out to the playing field, where some of them were brutally attacked by local riot policeman (OMON).

Syarhei Rumas,  the chairman of the Belarusian Football Federation, Uladzimir Krautsou, the head of Hrodna regional executive committee, and mayor of the city Mechyslau Goy were present at the event.
