'Anti-parasite' resolution: 18,000 jobs to be created following Council of Ministers decision


The most ambitious goal has been set before the administration of the Brest Regional Executive Committee.

The Council of Ministers has approved a plan to create new jobs and employment opportunities for Belarusians in the second half 2015, belta.by reports.

According to the government plan, in the next six months, Belarus should have 18 thousand jobs: in the Brest region – 5.8 thousands, Vitsebsk – 1.5 thousands, Homiel – 2 thoussands, in Hrodna – 2.2 thousands, Mahiliou – 2.9 thousands. The Minsk region administation is to create additional 2.7 thousand jobs, and in the Belarusian capital their number is to increase by 900. According to the decision of the Council of Ministers, regional governors will be held personally responsible for the creation of new jobs.
