Barack Obama on Belsat: I’m proud of your work

The American President congratulated Ms. Agnieszka Romaszewska-Guzy, Belsat TV director, on the channel’s work. She was introduced to Mr. Obama during a Saturday meeting in the Presidential Palace.

Ms. Romaszewska took part in Mr. Obama’s “Encounter with Polish Democracy”, a meeting organized for the guest by the presidential staff. Representatives of anti-communist opposition and current Polish politicians participated in the event.

“I asked President Obama to remember, that in Belarus there are still repressions against the political opponents of the regime” – Ms. Agnieszka Romaszewska-Guzy said. “I hope that the support for our project, as expressed by the President, will soon turn into a real cooperation” – she added.
