Minsk agrees to the terms of loan


Belarus agreed on terms of a loan from antr-crisis fund of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC), which was confirmed by the prime minster Mikhail Miasnikovich during the CIS‘ prime ministers council meeting.

– Considering the possibility of obtaining credit from the EurAsEC anti-crisis fund, Belarus takes an aim of solving outstanding problems in the near future. – added Belarusian prime minister, without giving the details of the conditions of getting a loan.

On May 17th, president Lukashenka informed that Russia is ready to offer $6 billion loan. – All togther it will be more than $6 billion – concluded Lukashenka – This is enough not only for [economic] stabilization, but also for solid currency reserves – added the president. Moscow, however, has not yet confirmed this information.
