Eastern Ukraine: Border detachment battered by mortar fire (video)

A group of pro-Russian separatists seized a block of flats near the building of Luhansk border detachment and is keeping Ukrainian border guards under fire.

In the night-time separatists attacked Luhansk border detachment, there being some 400 terrorists at 7 am. A hour later Dmytro Tymchuk, head of Ukraine’s grop Information Resistance, said on Facebook that their number reached 500 whereas seven border officers got wounded. Ukrainian soldiers managed to defeat four attacks.

The terrorists are placing fire on the border detachment using mortars and large-calibre machine guns, he said.
