Envoy: Equipment made in Belarus often breaks

Belarusian diplomats receive letters containing information on a number of engines, TV sets or parts in Belarusian warehouses; their authors ask diplomats to sell these goods in the country of their stay, Pavel Latushka, Belarusian ambassador to France, Spain and Portugal, told TV channel ONT.

An envoy or commercial advisor is not able to solve problems of thousands of enterprises, he said. ‘We are ready to perform our duties but the day has only 24 hours’.

‘Sometimes our equipment breaks down during presentations. Who will ever put credit if it dies even at the first presentation, if a key doesn’t open a door to a unit of our equipment? Imagine, a person buys a Mercedes and can’t open its door!’ the diplomat said.
