Ukrainian activist found tortured, crucified, ear cut (video)


Missing and presumed dead, Dmytro Bulatov, the leader of AutoMaidan, was found alive more than a week after communication with him had broken off late on January 22, when some 15 activists of AutoMaidan, protesters-on-wheels, were ambushed in Kyiv. Mr Bulatov was battered, put to torture, had his ear cut off.

Holding the activist, kidnappers kept cutting and beating him to a pulp; they even crucified Mr Bulatov – he has he has puncture wounds on his hands.

Then they dumped the activist in the countryside near Kyiv, Ukrainian media report. He walked around the village knocking on all doors until one of the natives let him in. Bulatov called his friends who brought him to the capital.

His torturers spoke with a marked Russian accent, Mr Bulatov stressed.
