Uladzimir Makey will head the Belarusian delegation the third Eastern Partnership Summit wihich is to be hosted by Vilnius on November 28-29, 2013, the Ministry’s press office reports.
During the plenary meeting on November 29, Mr Makey is expected to present Belarus’ position and approaches with regard to the EaP and further development of this initiative.
The Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs is also going to have bilateral meetings with representatives of EU Member States and Partners Countries as well as senior officials of the European institutions.
It is curious that some days ago Uladzimir Makey told reporters in Moscow: “As Belarus has no special expectations of the event, the level of Belarus’ representation at the forthcoming EaP Summit in Vilnius should not be very high.”
