The political prisoners might be free on Easter, Sviatlana Kalinkina, editor-in-chief of newspaper Narodnaya Volya, said in Belsat’s program Two vs Two. This year Easter is celebrated by Orthodox Christians on May 5.
Such scenario is being widely discussed by Belarusian opposition politicians who are frequent visitors in Brussels, the prominent journalist clariified in the interview.
The program was devoted to the details of the dialogue between the EU and Belarus, its hosts Pavel Mazheyka and Dzmitry Hurnevich having a violent dispute with guests Sviatlana Kalinkina and Andrey Yahorau, Head of the Centre for European Transformation.
