A spokesman for Lukashenka, Natallya Eismant, denied the information about the stroke of the head of Belarus.
“I can only say it is complete nonsense,” Eismant said in a comment to the Russian agency.
TASS asserts that initially the news about Lukashenka’s stroke was published by a little-known Ukrainian site with reference to sources in Minsk. In fact, the information first appeared on the night of July 30 on the telegram-channel “Nezigar” owned by the TASS agency CEO Sergei Mikhailov.
The Ukrainian resource published the news two hours before the information was denied by the Russian agency.
