Yet again separatist leader calls Donetsk miners to colours

Alexander Zakharchenko, the leader of the so called Donetsk people’s republic, has ordered another round of conscriptions among miners in regions controlled by the DPR, liga.net reports.

Each mine should send 260 persons to separatits’ units.

“Zakharchenko has ordered full mobilisation, 260 persons are to be forcibly called up from each mine. Young miners are shocked; no one wants to join [separatists], many are set to leave for the area controlled by Ukraine. Few people really support the so called republic. The miners say they would switch sides if they are forced to take part [in actions].”

Deputy commander of DPR ‘militia’ Eduard Basurin confirmed pro-Kremlin news agency RIANovosti  that Donetsk is continuing ‘recruitment of volunteers’ in order to be ready to ‘counter the threat of full-scale offensive breaking the ceasefire’.

Meanwhile, Russia’s Emergencies Ministry says its humanitarian convoy has arrived on Wednesday.More than 80 trucks have delivered foodstuffs and daily necessities to Donetsk, Russian news agency TASS reports.

The Ukrainian side claims that pro-Russian militants activity rise after arrivals of the Kremlin’s humanitarian convoys.
