Lukashenka's inauguration round the corner: Workers putting gloss on downtown Minsk


On the eve of Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s fifth presidential inauguration street cleaners are scrubbing the pavement in front of the Palace of Republic in the Belarusian capital.

The inauguration ceremony is to be held on November, 6 in the recently-built Palace of Independence. A gala concert is scheduled for the Friday evening; on this occasion, there is a big fuss in October Square on Thursday: even a water tank was brought here.
