Belarus is developing medical tourism, so it is advisable to increase the period of stay to 20 days.
It is the opinion of Syarhei Kavalchuk, head of the Belarusian Transport Ministry.
There are proposals to increase the number of countries whose citizens can enter Belarus without a visa.
“All proposals are submitted to the competent authorities in one package. Our position is the following: more countries, more days,” said Syarhei Kavalchuk.
The Minister did not rule out that it would be possible to enter Belarus using the visa-free travel procedure through regional airports.
The issue of extending the visa-free regime will be discussed in the near future, said Kavalchuk. According to him, the law-enforcement agencies will have the biggest number of concerns:
“The issue is very subtle, you need to process a large amount of information and come up with a mechanism. But with a reasonable approach, you can organize everything. ”
