Accident at flagship enterprise Belaruskali: Methane explosion kills timberman in mine

The concentration of gas vapor in the air was over 10%, while the allowable level of concentration is 1%.

27-year-old timberman Maksim Shahun was killed in the accident. A criminal case was opened over the explosion. An investigative group is working on the scene.

This is not the first time when an incident has happened at Belaruskali. In late October, steel structures collapsed at one of industrial sites, one person died.[vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row]
