Unidentified men destroy Maidan exhibition in Riga


Latvian police have launched a criminal case against the hooligans who destroyed the exhibition “People of Maidan” placed under the windows of the government building.

The incident occurred on Monday, November 5th. According to the exhibition organizer, Sergei Alexeyev, the damage from the actions of hooligans amounted to 25 to 30 thousand euros. The exhibition opening was planned for 6 November.

The perpetrators posted a video online, showing a man in the mask pushing over two posters and tearing the flag of the Right Sector, later cutting it.
