Two workers die under rubble after Belaruskali mine collapses near Salihorsk

Earlier, Belaruskali made public the names of the miners who were under the rubble: Maksim Ivanou and Dzmitry Valkou.

On Sunday morning, this information was confirmed to the ONT channel by the general director of Belaruskali, Ivan Holavaty.

“Unfortunately, the miracle did not happen — the guys were killed,” he said.

On March 10, the Investigative Committee filed a criminal case under Article 303 “Violation of the safety rules for mining or construction work over the inicident in the third mine of Belaruskali. The criminal article provides for liability in the form of a fine, arrest, restriction or imprisonment for up to 7 years.
