The correspondent of “Russia” TV channel asked Antoni Macierewicz a question in Russian after the NATO summit conference in Poland.
Despite the end of the event, he paused to answer reporters’ questions.
At some point a Russian journalist spoke.
– Why did you name Russia the main threat in the world?
– I called it so and I will call it so until it stops occupying Ukraine and waging war against the independent Ukraine. This is how it sounds, and I ask you to quote it in full. I called it so because it is the only country in Europe whose military actions violate the peaceful order. Russian forces killed people in Ukraine. It should not be this way,” he answered the Russian attack.
The journalist, however, would not stop.
– Is one battalion enough for you to protect yourself? she asked.
The Minister of Defence did not respond to the provocation. He thanked journalists and said that the conference was over.
The Alliance has confirmed the location of 4 battalions on the eastern flank. The multinational battalion of one thousand NATO soldiers will arrive in Europe next year: the battalion in Estonia will be commanded by the British, in Latvia – by the Canadians, in Lithuania – by the Germans, and in Poland – by the Americans.
