Over 1,500 turnout for first ever Vyshyvanka Day in Belarus


The first Day of Belarusian Vyshyvanka was held by a number of the country’s non-govrnmental organisations as part of campaign “Let’s Do Better”. Minsk. The event was organised in Minsk.

Traditional clothing and souvenirs were sold during the Vyshyvanka Day. The attendees participated in embroidery and ceramics workshops.

Vyshyvanka is traditional clothing which contains elements of ethnic embroidery. Local features are usually represented in the shirt’s ornamental pattern.
