Minsk tractor works will be offering tourists the new service already in June.
The company has been actively developing industrial tourism.
“Our guests visit two business units — tractor chassis assembly line and machine shop #5, where parts are manufactured. They also get acquainted with the exhibition, where they can not only see the famous machines, but also to sit in the tractor cab,” said the company youth expert Syarhei Sidarovich.
So far, the factory has been attended by over 1,200 people, 275 of them were foreigners.
“Many people know about ‘Belarus’ tractors, but they do not know how they are produced. Tourists are interesting in seeing the assembly process, seeing our town,” said Sidarovich.
Thw MTW plans to offer new services to tourists- – a tractor ride on the production site and work on the assembly line:
“Together with the plant employees, visitors will have an opportunity to carry out five operations. At the end of the tour, they will be given a certificate of participation in the tractor assembly”.
