On September 18, NOD activists drove through the streets of Minsk. The race in Belarus was staged as part of the All-Russian Humanitarian Rally and the sacred procession ‘Great Russia’. According to the Russians, their goal was to make up humanitarian aid for the unrecognised Donetsk and Luhansk republics. During the rally, the activists campaigned for Vladimir Putin and called him ‘Father The Tsar’.

The police let them go through the city without creating any obstacles. Notably, the Belarusian law enforcement agencies are notorious for not being so kind to the critics of Lukashenka’s regime.
