Chief State Veterinary Inspector of Belarus has suspended the export of the domestic product to Russia.
“Bellakt,” “Grandma’s Jug”, “Savushkin product”, and another 12 enterprises and branches were deemed dangerous and low quality.
Now Rosselkhoznadzor will check the declarations.
Exports of milk powder is one of the main items of Belarusian dairy exports to the allied country.
Similar sanctions have been used before.
The Russian side has repeatedly accused the Belarusian producers of making poor quality products. During the inspections the Russian agency revealed cheeses with excess radiation levels, excess amount of sodium nitrate and dangerous preservatives.
