Foreigners may visit Belavezhskaya Pushcha without getting visa soon


Foreign nationals will be allowed to stay up to 3 days is in the national park Belavezhskaya Pushcha  (Białowieża Forest) without a visa.

The corresponding decree №115 was published on the National Legal web portal. The decree aims at promoting the development of cross-border tourism. The visa-free regime is to be put into effect at the checkpoint ‘Pererav-Białowieża’.

A document that entitles a foreigner to enter the park will be the basis for the visa-free entry to Belarus, staying in the national park and leaving the country.

According to the decree, the Council of Ministers is to develop and approve the document regulating the order of foreign nationals’ visiting Belavezhskaya Pushcha .
