Belarus may seek Ukrainian defense industry professionals’ assistance in producing smart weapons.
A Belarusian military delegation is to visit Ukraine’s armament factories. According to military expert Aliaksandr Alesin, the delegates might make an attempt to pull Ukrainiann professionals to Belarus to help to fulfil Aliaksandr Lukashenka’s recent order. The Belarusian President demanded to launch production of precision-guided weapon in the country.
‘Minsk might have realised that one could make a pretty penny out of the situation. Chances are there will be no lack of highly qualified personnel. It is highly likely that there are enough professionals in Ukraine who won’t drop high salary in Belarus while the situation in their country is ambiguous. In addition, Belarus may start making missiles for medium-range surface-to-air systems with the help of Ukraine.
