Opposition politician Mikalai Statkevich has been released from a detention centre in Minsk, his wife Maryna Adamovich said on Facebook.
“I do not know how long it will last, but we are at home now,” she said.
He was detained on Saturday. The politician’s wife was informed that he would spend 5 says in jail. Previously, Mikalai Statkevich was sentenced to 15 days in jail for participating in the protest against Belarus-Russia joint on July, 3.
