Depardieu sings praises to Lukashenka: Tax on parasites is a great idea


During his visit to Belarus the French actor approved the fact that the Belarusian authorities had imposed a tax on ‘idlers’.

“These people have to pay a fine for that they are not working. And it is great!” Gerard Depardieu commented on the controversial tax on parasitism in an interview with TV channel Belarus-1.

The French actor, restaurant-keeper and owner of the Russian passport met with Belarusian president Alyaksandr Lukashenka who showed him how to mow grass with a hand scythe.
