Belsat TV contributor Volha Czajczyc was informed that her case had been sent to Dzyarzhynsk district court.
According to her, she will stand a chance to familiarize with a protocol drawn upon her only in court. The date and time of the hearing is unknown yet.
On March 18, journalist Volha Czajczyc and cameraman Syarhei Kavaliou were livestreaming a ‘non-parasite’ protest rally in the town of Barysau. They were detained during the live broadcast.
According to the policemen, the belsat TV contributors violated Article 22.9 of the Administrative Code (illegal production of media products). Mr Kavaliou will also have to appear before court over the same case.

On April 11, Volha Czayczyc was tried in absentia for covering a rally in Vitsebsk. A fine was imposed on the journalist.
