Belsat journalist held for hours by two traffic police cars

Traffic police had, however, to release our colleague.

On the evening of March 13th, ‘Belsat’ journalist Kanstantsin Zhukouski was stopped by traffic police. A few minutes later another police car arrived.

“I showed them all the documents for the car, they were all in order, but another police car arrived. The traffic cops did not know what they wanted, but did not let me go,” said Zhukouski.

According to him, the traffic police were waiting for some order from the top, which never came.

After 40 minutes, the journalist was released.
