Belarusians give Putin vyshyvanka as gift (video)


Belarus-made tractors and combine harvesters were demonstrated to Vladimir Putin in Minsk. The Russian leader also got a vyshyvanka (a traditional shirt with elements of Belarusian ethnic embroidery) as a gift.

On Wednesday, Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Vladimir Putin attended the international expo Belagro 2016 in Minsk which was hosting the third Belarus-Russia Forum of Regions.

The heads of state saw exposition of vehicles made by Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ), Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ), Belarusian Automobile Plant (BelAZ), Gomselmash, etc. Alyaksandr Lukashenka directed his Russian counterpart’s attention to domestic electric buses and drones.

The presidents also visited the exposition of the Belarusian light industry concern Bellegprom. Products made of Belarusian flax, including a vyshyvanka, were presented to Vladimir Putin.
