BATE FC fined for fan running on field during match against 'Naftan'


The Barysau club has been punished by another fine.

The Belarusian Football Federation decided to fine BATE for the sum of 1,610 BYN for the fan’s runout during a Belarusian Championship match,Sport.tut.by. reports.

The Barysau club was playing the Navapolatsk “Naftan” and could not beat the outsider, the game ended with the 1:1 score. At the last minute, the referee awarded a penalty into BATE gate, which the club from Navapolatsk used to level the score. This was not to the liking of one of BATE FC fans who ran onto the field and tried to talk to the judge.

BATE FC previously filed a lawsuit against Alyaksandr Vyanherski, who ran onto the field with a white-red-white flag at halftime of the Europa League match against London’s “Arsenal”. For this violation, the BATE FC was fined 5,000 EURO by the Union of European Football Associations. It now wants to recover the money from the fan.
