Back in USSR: Belarus marks October Revolution Day

Today there have been all signs of celebrating the Day of October revolution in Independence Square in Minsk, i.e. carnations, Soviet flags and portraits of Stalin.

Today soldiers, students, schoolchildren, workers have been ordered to appear near the statue of Lenin. Even Chinese comrades and communists from the USA have come to support the idea of Marxism-Leninism in Minsk.

November, 7 was the official national day of the Soviet Union from 1918 to 1991, but these days Russia doesn’t celebrate it. At that, November, 7 is still a public holiday in Belarus.
