Earlier, MART stated that they had detected a violation of antimonopoly legislation by the company in app stores. This was allegedly due to Google LLC offering a Google Play application store to manufacturers of Android smartphones and tablets for pre-installation on their devices only under certain conditions.

MART felt that this limited the ability of third-party app developers to access mobile devices and could lead to a reduction in the number of mobile app developers, limiting competitors’ incentives to develop their apps, thus hindering further competition.

In July 2021, Google LLC appealed the decision in the courts of Belarus. But the Economic Court of Minsk and the Supreme Court of Belarus dismissed the company’s complaints, and the statements of MART were recognized as “legitimate and justified.”
