Political prisoner Maryia Kalesnikava is now being retained in quarantine in the penal colony, she is undergoing a medical examination, the newspaper Narodnaya Volya reports with reference to her father Alyaksandr Kalesnikau.

On September 6, almost a year after the arrests, Maksim Znak and Maryia Kalesnikava, members of Viktar Babaryka’s staff and members of the Coordination Council, were sentenced to 11 and 10 years in prison, respectively. They were found guilty of conspiracy to seize state power in an unconstitutional way, creation of an extremist group and its management, as well as calls for action to cause damage to national security.
