Belarus’ secret services continue their teeming activity in Latvia, delfi.lv reports with reference to the local Internal Security Service (VDD).

A Belarusian-born resident of France, whose mother allegedly died of the novel coronavirus, demands a criminal case be opened against Alyaksandr Lukashenka. In his opinion, the Belarusian leader failed to take appropriate action amid the outbreak of COVID-19.

On March 10, a high-profile corruption trial started in a court in Minsk. Andrey Utsyuryn, a former deputy secretary of state of Belarus’ Security Council, is one of the defendants. He had previously headed Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s Security Service for nearly eight years.
