Riot policeman saves cyclist suffering from epilepsy fit

Police special forces staff were patrolling the central area of the capital when they saw a man who was unsteadily riding bicycle around the State Flag Square. Cyclist stopped, fell to the ground and began to convulse with foam coming from his mouth.

“Law enforcement officers immediately rendered first aid to the man: they unclenched his jaw and held his tongue to help him breathe. A few minutes an ambulance arrived at the scene, which stated an epileptic fit. Doctors said that if not for the timely and proper assistance of the police, the victim could have died,” the police reported. The man was taken to the City Hospital #2.
