Putin's rating down 5%

For the first time since the beginning of the election campaign, the electoral rating of Russian President Vladimir Putin has fallen below 70%.

This is evidenced by the study of the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion. Experts explain this by the feelings of alternatives among voters, bbc.com reports.

In mid-December, 74.8% of Russian citizens were ready to vote for Putin. Now their number has fallen to 69.9%. The survey was conducted on 26-28 January. On 11-15 January, 73.2% of respondents were ready to support the president at the election.

This is Putin’s lowest rating since early December, when he announced his readiness to run for the fourth presidential term. The election of the Russian president will be held on March 18, 2018.
