Belarusian Ministry of Defense: Zapad 2025 exercises will be moved inland
The head of the Belarusian Ministry of Defense, Gen. Viktar Khrenin, stated that the large-scale Russian-Belarusian maneuvers planned for September are not directed “against anyone,” and that the change of location for the exercises - further from the western borders - is “a sign of readiness for dialogue and de-escalation in the region.”
