Mikalai Dzyadok sentenced to 10 days in prison

The judge ruled that the activist had violated the article of the Administrative Code about “insubordination to police officers,” as well as “rules of holding mass events”.

“They did not count in the days that he had spent in the hospital under guard. The signed protocol had today’s date on it,” the activist’s father told Belsat.eu.

Dzyadok was sentenced in the Partyzansky district court of Minsk.

Mikalai Dzyadok was taken to hospital from the temporary detention facility with a brain injury.

He was arrested during a protest on March 25 in Minsk and taken to the Partyzanski police station. Later he was taken to the detention center in Akrestsina, from where he was taken to hospital.
