In memory of Boris Nemtsov: Belarusian opposition activists lay flowers at Russian embassy


Anatol Liabedzka, Chairman of the United Civic Party of Belarus, and about twenty Belarusian opposition activists laid flowers and lit candles near the Russian Embassy in Minsk on Sunday to express solidarity with the mourners in Moscow and pay the tribute to the memory of Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov who was shot dead into Saturday night.

Riot policemen were present at the action, but no one was deatined. The police confined themselves to recording their surnames.

During the action the embassy’s security guards prevented the participants from filming near the building referring to the appropriate order.
