Journalists Ales Lyauchuk and Milana Kharytonava attacked in Brest (video of provocator)

During the filming of a video reportage, an unidentified man in plain clothes, tried to snatch the camera from Ales Lyauchuk and strike him to the ground. The police intervened, taking journalists to the police station.

Ales Lyauchuk and Milana Kharytonava were filming a story about the dangers of smoking. It is unknown who was the man in plain clothes who attacked the journalist.

The conflict occurred after a child came to the journalists to interfere with the shooting. Milana told the child to stop it, and then an unknown man intervened. Presumably, he was the child’s father. He began to push and abuse the journalists.

The journalists were taken to the police station and told to explain themselves. According to Ales Lyauchuk, the police acted professionally.
