'Des idées fatales': How Lukashenka taught Depardieu scything (funny video)

The Belarusian leader and Gérard Depardieu, a famous French actor and tax evader, met on Wednesday and ‘held informal talks regarding agriculture support worldwide, development of technologies in growing eco-friendly food products’, state-own news agency BelTA reports.

In the course of their ‘informal’ talk Alyaksandr Lukashenka showed Depardieu how to scythe grass in the territory of his official residence in Astrashytsky Garadok near Minsk. The French actor and restaurant keeper, who, by the way, possesses a Russian passport, also had the opportunity to ride a tractor together with the Belarusian President.

It is to be recalled that Gérard Depardieu is reportedly blacklisted by Ukraine as a threat to national security after making comments in support of Russia.
