'Botanic project' unites Yanka Kupala with Bob Marley (AUDIO)

The “Botanic project” has presented a song to the music of Bob Marley and lyrics of Yanka Kupala, “Who goes there?” (One of the tracks of the new “Fairy Tale” album).

“We pulled ourselves together and completed the work which began together, we had to seek out Klim’s parts in studios and demo versions and restore them,” says the second vocalist Andrei Bahamolau. The first vocalist Klim Malazhavy is now in jail.

“It is no coincidence that the sample we used was the Marley’s “Exodus” and the text — the classic verse “Who is there”… Both authors speak about the same thing, in fact — about the suffering of the oppressed people and the injustice that is done and the readiness to resist. We think that this idea is relevant for our country, as never before,” says Andrei. It was he who suggested to make this track. Klim was to record the backing vocals, but did not have time for it.

You can hear the new track live in the ‘Beer & Wine’ bar on November 24 in Minsk.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]You can hear the entire album in an official ‘Botanic project’ group or download it from the official site of the band.
