Belarusian volunteers have signed a contract with the Ukrainian army and now will study as part of the elite units taught by NATO.
Requests of the Belarusian volunteers to the Verkhovna Rada gave result. On June 23, Facebook of the tactical “Belarus” group featured a message that its fighters gained Ukrainian military cards.

The fighters who have received military cards are now signing contracts with the Ukrainian army. The Belarusian volunteers chose an elite unit which fell under the military reform.
“There are instructors from the US and other NATO countries. We hope to receive necessary knowledge there,” say the soldiers of the task force.
Earlier, fighters of the group could not receive military cards of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
They emphasize that they do not want Ukrainian citizenship, because they are patriots of Belarus and are at any time ready to return to protect it.
“The war in Ukraine gives us the opportunity to prepare for prevention of the Crimean scenario in Belarus. This is why we are fighting, not to obtain citizenship of another country,” say the volunteers.
The “Belarus” tactical group appeared in 2014, but received the stable name only in June 2015. It is formed mainly of Belarusian volunteers, but there are also Ukrainians and Russians. Together with the “Right Sector,” soldiers of the force held a position in the village of Peski near Donetsk, participated in the defense of the Donetsk airport and a number of other operations.
“Today, some of our fighters are in Avdeyevktsa, part of them are registering in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Also, some guys are treated and rehabilitated for injuries,” say the fighters.
The tactical force “Belarus” does not reveal its members.
